Stuffed potato bread rolls

Stuffed potato bread rolls is an ideal snack for kids and for everyone, this is a tea time snack recipe which can easily be made in a very short time. This is a perfect snack that can be serves with evening tea or you can also serve it as appetizer. Stuffed potato bread rolls are crunchy and crispy outside and soft flavoured from inside. Making potato bread rolls is quite simple and easy to make for friend or small get-together. And if in case you have boiled potatoes available in fridge then you can make bread rolls in jiffy. Let’s have a look what ingredients this recipe requires;

 

Ingredients:

 

* White Bread                           4 slices

* Boiled Potato                         2 medium size

* Salt and pepper                       to taste

* Red chilli powder                   ½ tsp

* Black pepper                          ½ tsp

* Turmeric powder                   ¼ tsp

* Coriander leaves                    2 tsp finely chopped

* Oil                                         for deep frying

* Egg                                        2

* Bread crumbs

 

 

Method:

 

* Firstly, you need to take 2 medium size potatoes, now boil them and mash them smoothly.

* Leave it to chill on room temperature

* Now add salt and pepper (to taste), red chilli powder ½ tsp, black pepper ½ tsp, turmeric powder ¼ tsp and chopped coriander leaves in mashed potatoes

* Mix them all well; if you love to eat spicy then you can increase the spices by adding black pepper and red chilli powder

* Now put mashed potatoes bowl aside

* Take four bread slices and finally remove the sides

* Now dip the bread slices in water (room temperature) for a second (make sure it dips well) and squeeze the excess water, dipping in water helps in making the perfect shape for bread rolls.

* After dipping and squeezing, take 1-2 tbsp of mashed potatoes and put this in the center of bread

* Now make oval shape with bread, in a way that potato filling doesn’t show, use your both hands to make a proper shape

* Beat 2 eggs in a bowl and dip the bread rolls in it

* Then roll them in bread crumbs, so it’s completely covered with bread crumbs coating

* Repeat the procedure for all the bread rolls

* Heat the oil and deep fry them on slow flame till it turn beautiful golden colour

* Now put them out of oil and they are ready to serve
